The May 19 Primary is Vote By Mail Only!
Due to Coronavirus, Idaho's May 19 Primary is All Vote-By-Mail.
Everyone will vote by Absentee Ballot.
The Idaho Secretary of State will be mailing out Absentee Ballot request forms to voters.
Below is information on how to request an Absentee Ballot yourself, how to contact your County Clerk, and how to check on your voter registration.
Request Your Absentee Ballot Online
You can request your absentee ballot online by visiting the Idaho Secretary of State's Office here. Follow the instructions and your ballot will be mailed to you.
Please note: You will need to provide a valid Idaho state-issued ID AND the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number (the Idaho Secretary of State only uses your Idaho state-issued ID and the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number to validate your absentee ballot request with your voter registration. No scanning of your ID or Social Security Card is required).
Request Your Absentee Ballot By Mail
If you prefer to request your absentee ballot via mail and/or you don't have a valid Idaho state-issued ID, visit the Idaho Secretary of State's Office here to print out an absentee ballot request form.
